Seonjin Lee (b. 1993) is an independent director based in Seoul.Â
With a foundation in film directing and roots in music videos, she has built extensive experience across development, directing, and post-production on more than 100 projects since 2017.
She places great importance on fully understanding what each artist and brand aims to communicate. Rather than pursuing beautiful scenes, grand narratives, or complex structures for their own sake, she builds a cinematic world grounded in the purpose and emotional tone of each project. While preserving the essence of the original direction, she develops an interpretation suited to each project. Rather than simply following trends, she explores a layered visual language and develops a distinct approach to visual storytelling for each project.
Every project has its own conditions and priorities. Regardless of scale, she approaches each one with care and develops a production process suited to its specific needs, rather than applying a fixed approach.
